Windsurfing

Although most coastal resorts offer windsurfing courses and board rentals, serious windsurfers gravitate to the town of Bol on Brae Island. The strong, steady maestral blows from April to October and the wide bay catches the wind perfectly. The best windsurfing is in late May, early June, late July and early August. The wind generally reaches its peak in early afternoon and then dies down at the end of the day.
