Nord side Porec City on road to Triest. Most commerce is in the new Fontana section of town at the foot of the hilltop old town. The bus stops in Trg Fontana, a small square in the centre of town, which is where you'll find a few cafes and shops. Porec continually top the annual poll of best holiday resorts in Croatia, as organized by the Croatian National Tourist Board. Most visitors arrive by car, but you can fly in to Pula Airport to where Ryanair have recently commenced flights to. Istria is the largest peninsula in the Adriatic Sea.
